The Fiesta del Sol is organized by the Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Solana Beach and the Belly Up. Over 50,000 people will enjoy the fun, sun, family time and live entertainment over the two-day festival on June 7 & 8. The Fletcher Cove area of Solana Beach will come alive with great sounds, smells and sights. Entertainment for Fiesta del Sol 2008 will be provided by the Belly Up.
All ages are welcome to join in the fun! Fiesta del Sol hosts an international food court, beer garden (for those 21 years and above), live entertainment, children activities; arts & crafts, non-profit informational, retail and business booths will line the streets of Solana Beach each day from 9:00am - 7:00pm. FREE parking will be available and shuttle service plans are in the works.

The Romantics and The English Beat Will Headline the 29th Annual Festival
In conjunction with 91X FM,the Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce, the City of Solana Beach and the Belly Up announced the complete lineup for the 2008 Fiesta Del Sol Festival, the 29th edition of the popular summer kick off event. Steve Goldberg, Belly Up co-owner stated, "With 34 years of presenting world-class entertainment in Solana Beach, it makes perfect sense for both the Belly Up and the Chamber to be working together on Fiesta Del Sol. We are pleased to have some of our bands, like The Romantics, The English Beat, Elijah Emmanuel and Venice at this year's festival.” 91X FM secured the musical entertainment for Fiesta del Sol.
